Every time I watch one of your videos Joe I’m always blown away by the consistently beautiful finish you get on your ports, especially your transfers. I have a 440, 066, 661c and a 500i. I LOVE my new 500i. Starts easy, runs flawlessly and is very powerful. Powerful enough to pull a 32" bar cleanly through a 40" dry oak log. I replaced the bar with a 24" one and she is my main work saw.

The ported 500i is quite a impressive saw but i am waiting for the ported Husqvarna 592 XP.

The first time dyno (stock) let me hope IT can make ported 9.5

I have two questions. 1. In the previous dyno measurements, the MS 500i (in the video "The most powerful modern 70cc chainsaw!") had 7.02 HP in stock and this with a straightshot muffler only 0.16 HP more. Is the muffler upgrade worted? 2. Question This chain saw has completely different high rpm characteristics than the 500i before. Why? Did they reduce the high rpm?
