The abdomen is a JUNGLE of nerves 🤯
Many of these nerves affect the hip and groin region. It’s actually quite common to develop a nerve entrapment in the abdomen, that causes symptoms further below in the hip or groin.
Sometimes you will sense that it’s a nerve problem because it feels “nervy” ⚡️
But a lot of the time you wouldn’t even suspect that a nerve is involved ➡️ because it just causes a tension and tightness that doesn’t go away despite everything you do.
These nerves are small and hard to feel, but with practice and patience, it is possible to feel along the pathway and find the entrapment.
This is a snippet from a recent training weekend, with Zac and Dr. Chris treating the Ilioinguinal nerve just above my hip.
