As a US citizen and a Nuggets fan, this was a very conflicting game. On one hand, GO USA, but on the other, I just watched Jokic make it a legit game every second he was on the court against 10 allstar level guys, 4 dpoy caliber guys, multiple all defensive level guys after that, 3 of the top 10 offensive players in the history of the sport, and everything in between, and it's just made me mad af that the nuggets second option, while great, has consistently looked like a high end role player rather than a legit star without Jokic for his entire career. It truly makes me think, what if instead of trading Donovan Mitchell for Trey fuckin Lyles, what would this team look like? I just don't want the nuggets to be hamstrung by having to pay Jamal 50 million a year when we already have a bunch of over payed guys

LeBron and KD being at the Olympics seems to take 10 years off of their age. Curry, Holiday, KD, Bron and AD/Bam is definitely the play imo.

Joel played a lot better in the 2nd half but Kerr decided not to play him much he settled in after the first few minutes fiba is still very new to him and you saw him get better and better every game he’ll be very good and a key part for us

Im from serbia and the problem was Kevin Durant, he scored points which most players wouldnt score. And team USA plays more agressively which we struggle against, we usually dont do many fouls and the coach even said in a timeout to do more fouls;they didnt

Biggest difference is three point shooting, same as it was in the exhibition game.

Adding Bogdanovic was suppose to help with that, but he had a bad game, while adding KD proved to 10x US capabilities.

These teams might meet again down the line, and if Serbia doesn't learn how to shoot threes by then, it's gonna be another blowout.
