Advanced English Grammar: The Infinitive Clause & The Infinitive Phrase

What is an infinitive clause? What is an infinitive phrase? You might be interested to learn that this sentence includes an infinitive clause (“to learn that...”). It’s a clause that includes an infinitive followed by a noun clause used together as a complement to what preceded it.
