I feel like I just heard an ACTUAL sermon, heard an audio book, and watched the best damn, award winning movie ever. What an incredible story, and an inspirational person. Much love to you Mark.

This man has a gift. It is the ability to inspire addicts. To inspire everyone. Oh, and Troy?. Absolute angel, right here in our midst. Great men and great story. Francis is one helluva woman too!

This man has the most organized thoughts of anyone you’ve interviewed

Shewww. I had to go hide in the bathroom for a minute at work because I was a crying mess. My wife stuck by me when I relapsed last year and hearing you talk about your son really hit me hard, my daughter is 16 months old now. Powerful powerful story. God bless you Mark

This is one of the greatest stories of redemption that I’ve ever heard. The cool thing is his story is still ongoing. I’m proud of you mark!

This man should write a book. What an incredible story. I commend him for forgiving himself and using his empathy for some a beautiful purpose

Mark and Mark, this was really an eye opening experience. Thank you. I have been a judgmental, arrogant asshole and now realize it is not as simple as get your shit together. What a wonderful way to use YouTube.

I am so happy that he has turned his life around. My son was a recovering addict. He had been clean for 3 years, but relapsed and died. My heart is broken that he didn't make it. He was a gifted 25 year old who was loved immensely by his family. 💜💜💔💔

I haven’t cried this deeply for such a long time. I can relate to this on so many levels. Serving others, working the program, loving your family. Beating the addiction…. It’s so tragic and beautiful

WOW !
Mark( McGowan) you need to write a book!
Mark( Producer)-Would you be able to interview Troy?
Mark is such an inspiring man!
So good at recalling details.
Well done, although that doesnt seem to be the right words to use, after listening to such a sad/inspiring story.

Honored to say that Mark and Troy are a part of my story. Troy was brought into my life on a day I was supposed to be at home to spend alone with the bottle. Instead, I was convinced to cover a shift at work where he and his daughter had scheduled a lesson with the person I was relieving for that day. I provided that lesson as a backup and Troy saw something in me that made him come back in to the shop have a conversation. That conversation was the kickstart to meeting and chatting with Mark along with entering treatment again. I wasn’t even supposed to be where I was that day, Troy wasn’t even supposed to meet me. Yet it happened 🙏 This was almost exactly a year ago. I am happy to say that I am still currently giving Troy and his daughter lessons and will be reaching my 8 month milestone of sobriety on the 22nd of this month.

"There is a reason why I went through everything in my life and that was to help another person." I will remember that forever. Being of service is of the upmost importance. It might be everything.
