It's always interesting seeing somebody do their first slab/epoxy project. They can get addictive, so I'm sure you'll be doing more. One tip: Run your router with the grain when flattening. It saves a lot of sanding.

A Medium thumbs up? He Is hard to impress! I Love it and would give it a total thumbs up! I bet after a few more smores Little Builds will too! I often look at things and try to reimagine them. I re-imagined this build without the plywood core or the fire element, instead using some sort of lighting (LED maybe?) to shine through the epoxy from underneath. Great video!

Mad talented it is an understatement! Two Hardy thumbs up! Can’t wait to see little builds working with you like I saw with lots of parents and kids replicating your first fire table project. Great pics and videos they sent us where they worked together as a family project. Love that. Also, they sell a high temperature gasket tape (like what you use in a green egg between the halves to seal the heat in); aka stove and fireplace gasket tape, or smoker gasket seals that can be put against the pan and taped to the wood/ epoxy. Another fantastic project. HOME RUN FOR SURE! We are here if anybody needs us for their project.
