Damn HOAs, I'll NEVER own a house in an HOA again!

Imagine having an HOA telling you, you can’t have solar….

Or buy your kids some normal bikes and you do not have to charge anything!!

Kim, always love your content, but a 3.8 kWh portable battery is basically useless for charging your Tesla Model X. My Model Y has a 75 kWh battery pack and a 3.8 kWh battery would provide approximately 5% or 12-16 miles. And if you factor in the weight of the portable battery, your SOC would be impacted significantly more than 5%. Great idea for charging a golf cart or e-Bikes. I have the EcoFlow Delta Pro and charge it using my portable 400 W solar panel and then keep my golf cart and e-bikes charged up.

As someone who loves camping I could see myself definitely buying one of these! Plus its so quiet!

lol I’m guessing the Tesla charge was unsuccessful due to a ground fault? Is that why that part was cut out?

Wow 26kwh can power your house for a week? For me our 25kwh battery would only power our house for 2-3 days during winter. We are all electric with heatpump. In summer we don’t use any grid at all unless we have more than 3 days of bad weather lol

I wonder if this qualifies for the federal tax credit since the unit is over 3kw.

Tesla, com on where is your VTL (Vehicle to Load) like most every other EV, they are ahead on so much but back of the bus when it comes to VTL, yes I have a smaller ECOFLO for my Tesla Model Y's 120VAC requirements, but this Solix F3800 unit rocks, as it offers 240 split phase output!

Ugh I can't stand HOA's. I would never be able to have someone tell me what I can and can't do in my house... that isn't against the law.

A Giant Chinese battery/generator company gives away a few FREE 5k generators. That 5k dollars! These "reviewers" all look very legit, but seriously...are they really legit? It's almost disgusting. ALL of these reviews come from people who were given generators for their review. yeah these things are cool, especially the Ecoflow Ultra, but in reality you need a gas, diesel, or propane generator for any long term needs...more than a day a two. Get a duel fuel, run it on propane, and you won't have the problem of gas sitting for a long time. Imagine, you buy a predator, Westinghouse, or champion 12500 duel fuel for 1500 max. Done. These power stations are just a shiny object. Good for Van Life, I own two Ecoflows, but they are not serious for home backup.

You should check Georgia law. In Florida HOAs are forbidden from preventing the gathering of energy from the sun. this includes clothes lines and solar.

Kim thanks for the review, we are Tesla campers so this a great product for exactly that! Power our portable fridge without drain the EV battery! As you know the Tesla model Y and Model X require either the Sentry mode or camping mode on to keep the 12 (actual 16volt) rear vehicle outlet active which draws more the the fridge alone.

Ordered one last week early enough for 45% discount plus the expansion battery for emergencies to replace our gas/propane generator. We also already have the smaller Anker 767 (aka solix 2000), which is much more portable. I paired it with 800 watts of portable solar panels that is great for camping and trickle charging our Tesla via 110v (requires a $3 neutral to ground bonding plug since the Tesla charger is expecting a true ground).

There's a 100kw battery pack but no outlet 😅

The expansion pack can hold 26kwh of power for 1 week not power your house for 1 week. On average the daily consumption for a house hold is between 25 and 29kwh so you would need to charge it fully while running it

Looks awesome! I’ve been wanting one too just can’t decide which one to go with 🤔

Anyone ever wonder why there is no interior charge port? You could charge while driving.
