What do you guys do with the dna after you tested it? Store it?

I'd love to buy my Dad an Ancestry DNA test - after all, Ancestry keep saying it's a good idea to test close relatives - but unfortunately they won't let me because we live in different countries: I'm in the UK and he's in the USA.
