I remember when I was like seven years old there was a stray cat that used to hang around her neighborhood. I felt really bad for it because it would try to hide underneath peoples houses including mine during the rain so I built it a house out of scrap wood, and it held up pretty well to this day. She has been adopted by me.

Mine is an upgraded Amazon box cat house, there is blankets, and a hole fore toy that has a bell

That cat house is garbage. The cardboard was probably warmer. I bought it, it has gaps all over, very thin crappy wood, nothing is sealed, and the paint is just a wash, certainly not waterproof. If anyone wants to actually use it, it at least needs caulking, good paint, probably plastic around it, straw under it, and insulation. An extra large rectangle food cooler bag with foil inside would fit the space well.
