Isn’t it funny how our Mom’s know us best? She was so right. The neutral brown was perfect with your coloring.

Even though I don’t love Fall with the weather getting colder (I’m always cold too) I do love when it becomes more socially acceptable to wear long sleeves all the time😂 you look gorgeous & effortless in them all!🤩❤️

They ALL look great on you! My favorite is the fitted brown tee and that type of shirt is so good because it can be dressed up or down (your mom is right, that color is very flattering on you!) ❤

However, a fashion note to heed when observing Jennifer Jenkins's garments. Burgundy is my choice for dinner, though. If eating King Salmon, then the Black Lace.
The ancient Greeks' robes were U, or V-shaped, as opposed to the ancient Romans' popular style of U shape. Low necklines were popular until the end of Queen Elizabeth's reign.
Rococo initiated early 18th century Paris opted for the plunge through crinoline in the 19th century introduced stiff or structured petticoat designed to hold out a woman's skirt.- Necklines were high and accompanied by ruffs during Alexander MacQueen's time. During the Barque, age-flowing neck and collars instituted the first deep-cut breast presence in the public eye. After the passing of Queen Victoria, the Edwardian period engulfed itself in sailor, collar-styled collaring until the roaring 1920s electrified fashions with Round / V / Bateau / Cowl / Oval necklines. A decade later, an early Elton John style of high cowl v necks with straw hats became vogue. Glen Miller's popularity through the 1940s emphasized boxy, sweetheart, slit dresses circumnavigating the inevitable howl neckline and the rounded funnel style. The 1980s turtle neck does encompass a significant cause for physically structured males leading us to the most famous garment in fashion history, the T. shirt.
In 2019, we saw several Spring Summer 2020 fashion shows featuring waistcoats for women – Saint Laurent, Celine, and Etro were my favorites! Waistcoats usually have a particular neck style, and the collections that included waistcoats for women did so with slight 'plays' on the neckline style for their looks: How did all these varied necklines fashionable? The T. shirts.
T-shirts are recognized by their shape, with the torso and arm portions forming the letter T. Traditionally, these shirts have featured a rounded collar known as a crew neck, the most enduring image associated with T-shirt styles.
Ironically, while t-shirts are an essential staple of men's fashion these days, coming in various colors, patterns, and styles, when they first appeared as a piece of men's clothing, they were used as an undergarment. Technically speaking, what we wear around town today would have been like wearing your underwear into your local grocery store back then.
T-shirts started becoming more of an all-day everyday piece of clothing in the 1940s and 1950s, especially after being worn on posters by military personnel and being seen by famous Hollywood actors of the time, such as Marlon Brando and James Dean. At this point, t-shirts were still commonly white, and perhaps their sense of rugged daring came with a sense of still being associated with undergarments. What else could seem more rebellious and different?
Rationing and shortages dissipated the boom decade of the 1950s to invest in new designs, colors, and cuts. In the 1960s, with WWII and the Korean War, the fashion industry began to obtain materials in more excellent color varieties. By this time, the traditional t-shirt needed some sprucing up – a slight variation. Hence, the birth of the V-neck and other styles of the t-shirt.
V-necks have been a trendy choice of t-shirt, always initially designed to hide the collar fabric. In the 1970s, film stars like Burt Reynolds would wear turtle necks over the t. shirts offering a rugged appearance.
“It’s all in how you perceive it. You’re in control. You can dispense with misperception at will, like rounding the point.” – Marcus Aurelius
