I love subnautica but it scares the hell out of me very much the same way it does with you in your videos. I can only play it for small periods at a time because I get so scared I can make myself sick. And every time night falls I just rapidly make for the nearest shelter and literally cry if I dont think I can make it there safely. Hell sometimes in the begining Id get to my lifepod, climb on top, and still cry cus I was so freaked out. Once I learned the boundaries of where I was generally safe I started feeling better about it but if I get stranded in a new area at night with no shelter to hunker down in I absolutely am going to cry.
But its also a lot of fun and I do enjoy the game. Im just so so scared.
And I know it isn't real. I know they can't actually hurt me, but my phobia does not care.

Thalassophobia is by far one of the most interesting phobias to have when you go to the lake with friends but cant see the bottom. Hate it because if I can't see the bottom there's a predator there no matter what.

I also hav Thalassophobia n it's so frustrating when people say its fake or something, honestly I find the ocean to be one of the most beautiful n fascinating things in the world but what scares me isn't exactly the creatures in it but the open/bottomless/void like ocean itself...

Never in my life have I seen such a severe case of thalassophpobio, nor such an unrelenting will to get over it by playing probably one of the most well made water based survival horror games ever made. You're doing great so far, keep it up.

Idiots on twiter.... thats EXACLY how Thalasophobia works and lets you react.. Still, Your the bravest man i know beside me. You at least conquered part of what would be the FINAL fear ever. You conquer that, you conquer every fear you EVER will have, thats how HARD that is! Your version as far as i saw is even more extreme than mine. I at least can look into the void for some time prior to my fear taking over.
