It’s a shame we didn’t get to hear from the athletes. All we got was five words from the coach but the rest was just you talking.

This was incredible to watch! What a beautiful place, and an incredible experience that must have been.
I've always been uncertain as to the value of sponsored teams. I now realize that, in order to compete on the world stage, they're critical. Most talented runners i know of have to have a job to support themselves, and sometimes have a family to tend to. If the incredible Kenyans are able to focus 100% on their training, and more importantly on their recovery/ down time between demanding workouts, it would be practically impossible to compete with that level of 100% dedication to training without being a fully sponsored athlete. Food for thought...

Wish I could give this a thumbs up twice. After reading Running the the Kenyans and Out of Thin air. The running culture in Kenya and Ethiopia is totally mental. What seems like entire countries of Olympic standard runners. If anyone has to read 2 x Running books, these are the ones I would recommend.

These videos should be longer. All the way to Kenya, and you make a 15-minute video. 😂

Its crazy how the logic of running for the Kenyans works ... Ideally .. when u train for something .. u try to simulate what u training for, in training like a batsman from cricket, footballers training as close to match like intensity
Theese kenyans train at altitude and come down heere at sea level where the oxygen is more plentiful and " what they training for " is literally easier than race
The kenyans will be dominating long distance running for a long time

🙏Towards the end of video, I love how he asked about “family “ I can tell Family is very important to u. That’s exactly the way it should be. Balance and knowing the need of investing in your relationships*❤
