Comedy doesnt really attract oscars. Even though he has done some excellent drama roles such as the truman show the Man on the Moon, its just not frequent enough to attract the attention of the snobby elite types. Hey you never know, put him in a transgender role where he fights to get sentenced to a womens prison, and he wil get 2 for the same movie.
