Dave Bautista says he is still HUGE

In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Dave Bautista addresses the concerns over his weight loss, but says at 6'4" and 240 lbs, he is still a huge guy.

For a movie called Knock at the Cabin, Dave played the role of a giant of man called Leonard, and he had to bulk up to 315 lbs. Now at 55 years old, it's taken him a long time to shed that weight, but he says he's now feeling really good.

After officially retiring the role of Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy, he is keen to work with Director James Gunn again. James has now moved over to the DC Universe, and Dave is struggling to understand what role he might play over there.

Originally he always wanted to play Bane, it was a dream role of his. But now thinks he lacks the physicality to due the character justice. However, after revealing his slimmer appearance and new found style at recent interviews and events like the Toronto International Film Festival, a comparison is being made with him and Hugo Strange; in fact there's an uncanny resemblance.

Dave had heard about a fan casting idea of playing Lex Luthor which he was quite enamored with, so playing a different DC villain could be of interest to him

He’s been jacked for so long that 6’4 240lbs is small to us

hes 55. being lighter is the path to longevity at that age.

Remember that he was 317 lbs at his biggest, and now he is 250 lbs, just because he lost that much, doesn't mean that he is anorexic.

When he said he felt good, that was enough explanation for me.

He's such a gentleman. I"met" hi. At an airport lounge where he asked if he could sit, literally, two feet across from me. I had no clue as to who he was until a lounge employee asked for his autograph, then upon leaving the lounge to catch my flight, I asked her. Ironically enough, that night upon returning home, I turned on Friday night wrestling. Guess who was featured...Bautista! Mad respect for this gentleman. ❤

He has been big for so long that so many people are used to only seeing him in that size. I will tell you five years down the road if he’s still at this weight, people won’t really notice all that much.

The first time I saw Dave Bautista, he came out to the ring on a Thursday night SmackDown, wiped out the other guy in 10 seconds flat, and then quietly and calmly walked offstage.. That was some 20-25 years ago, and I never forgot how huge and scary he looked, he was a beast of a human being. Yet, his calm demeanor and down-to-earth attitude makes him so likeable and so relatable that you can't help but to love and hope the best for a guy like Dave Bautista.

he's probably the best actor that ever came from a wrestling background. he doesnt need to be massive to be a good actor

He's getting older, and has maintained 300+ for over 20 years across Wrestling and Movies. I'd say he feels great.

He’s 6’4”, probably around 200 lbs with the pearl necklace—maybe 195 without it.

He has obviously had some health problem related to the abuse of anabolic steroids and other substances or he has simply realised that his life expectancy would be greatly reduced if he did not stop now. I am happy for him, he is a good actor and I think he is directing his acting career in another direction.

I was conflicted because I love him in every movie he has played a part in I'm disappointed he won't be playing the roll of Drax again but Im happy he's happy and any new role he's looking to overcome I'm so ready to see how he kills it. Love you bautista

Respect to him for coming down. He's in his 50s. There's no reason to be 315 when you're that old. He seems humble and smart.
