NACFC 2021 | S01: Health Equity in Cystic Fibrosis Care

This symposium is devoted to issues in health equity in cystic fibrosis care. Topics include a discussion of bias in medicine and how this may impact the CF care model, as well as a review of the existing research on disparities in CF care. This includes work on access to modulator therapy, involvement in clinical trials, and disparities in health outcomes and newborn screening, This symposium will also include perspectives from people with CF on their own experiences of care.
