Wings of Fire short animation-ft. Arctic and Foeslayer (Unfinished/Scrapped concept)

This is an animation I've worked on since last year, around the same time as How It Feels To Be Lost. This was part of the WoF sequel storyline until I decided that it simply doesn't fit into the plot well and discarded it. I'm still quite proud of some frames in this animation though, so I thought I'd at least show you guys the unfinished version :)

I read about it, being a new reader to the series, and saw it was going to have that weird 2D/3D style…why can’t we just have decent animation LIKE THIS!? We don’t need 3D, 2D isn’t dead, and NEVER died! If this is what it was going to be, I would have felt more distraught. But maybe it’s a good thing, and someone else will pick it up some day.
