For the last step to becoming a Marine in Marine Corps boot camp, you have to do this thing called the Crucible, which is a 54 hour training exercise thats excruciatingly mentally and physically strenuous. For the last bit of that exercise, you walk 9 miles from where you were training back to where your barracks are and this open concrete graduation deck where you earn your Eagle Globe and Anchor. Through the last bit of that entire hike back, from between me being a recruit and becoming a Marine, I was chanting this song in my head on loop. Thanks for helping me make it EDEN :)

Short story: Dec 2019, our 16 month old son passed away due to injuries while under the care of another person. I've listened to Eden for years but only I found this song spring 2020, just around the time when the person responsible was formally indicted. The amount of raw emotion this song pulled when i listened to it indescribable. I literally felt lighter toward the end of the song and was actually able to look a pictures of our baby and smile. Will never forget that moment and I wish everyone could experience the power of music. Still here in 2021.

This popped up in my recommended after forgetting about it for nearly 5 years. After a really long and hard day, and 5 years really, this is here to comfort me in my time of need. It is crazy how timeless and precious this music is. These people are really making music and encapsulating it in time, to talk to us whenever we need help along our journey. I have no doubt in my mind that divine intervention is afoot! We will forget all the beauty this life has to offer when we get lost in darkness, but the light will always try to shine through.

In all honesty Eden was able to put together words that best fit hiw i feel right now and it will forever be a timeless classic.

Almost 6 years later, and this song is undoubtedly one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life, so many raw emotions, so much energy, there's something about this song that makes it so realistic, it sort of reminds me of taking your next step in life and progressing as a human being, like a graduation or finishing your service in the military, I can't even begin to explain how it makes me feel, I feel overwhelmed every time I listen to it, no matter how many times I listen to it, I'll never find it dull and it'll always make me feel a certain way...
