I have been lucky enough to get my hands on the brand new Harman Phoenix 200 in 120 Format.
This is exciting news for those that already love this colour film and are ready to try it in Medium Format.
And good on Harman for continuing to provide us with new and exciting things to try.

In this video I used two cameras for this vlog. A Fuji 6x9 camera and also a 6x6. Neither disappointed.

The Duver, St Helens. I bought some 35mm at Christmas and I’ve only just put a roll of it in my camera. Going to give it a bash at the weekend.

I’d definitely like a play with some of the 120 version too.

I agree on the scanning and developing B&W, good place to go is up on the cliffs Blackgang i access from Niton when i visit my son. I know you go to the military rd so try it, great views back across island and a few large farm machinery.

I already have my Phoenix - 120 in the fridge and ready to go. I too have found the 135 version a little hit an miss, when it hits it is fantastic. As a portrait photographer, lots of light and overexpose by one stop works a treat, so does shooting at box, but again with strobes. When shooting in natural light I find the results can appear very grainy. At least I am getting to the point where I know how to shoot it to get a look I like. I can't wait to shoot it on my 67. I love this film, for me it is a creative choice to use it, and it gives a unique look, so it's a win. And speaking of 'win' as I already have a slack handful of it in 120 I will not throw my hat in the ring.

Thx Roger for the presentation of the PHOENIX film. I haven't tried it, however looking to your results the grain, contrast and the colors reminds me on my AGFA Vista 200 film. My favorite for Medium Format is the Kodak Porta 160.

You were on the old golf coursey area at the duver - lovely little spot for photos and one of the nicer beaches on the island imo. Loved the shots - some new angles I hadn't thought of before. Great stuff!
