My uncle ALWAYS said he wanted a disco themed funeral. Then he ended up getting a boring funeral. I really hope he is still haunting everybody involved.

This professional “mourner” thing was a bigger trend a few decades ago, according to my grandmother. They were supposed to cry in order to encourage others to cry too 👁👄👁 the manipulation of it all, i want at least three at my funeral

Jim Henson had a puppet themed funeral. At the end all these muppets came out and sang “Rainbow Connection”. You can find the video on YouTube or Defunctland did a video about it. I watched it, and cried my damn eyes out.

At my grandma's homegoing we all cried and then ate food and talked about old stories in a circle. We played all her favorite songs. We did the same at my cousin's homegoing too.

Other cultures are so involved with their family’s deaths and funerals. I say if you want a breakfast funeral, go for it. Whatever helps you through this terrible time, but hey you might aswell make it an event the dead person would’ve wanted to go to.

My exe’s grandfather used to love Pringles and before he passed, he asked for his ashes to be put in sour cream Pringle cans so they did just that. A ton of the family members also wore Pringles socks to the funeral. If that’s what they want, that’s what they want. Funerals are already super depressing and it’s a celebration of THEIR life. I respect this. 🤷🏻‍♀️
