Cool tool, I once watched a woodworker carve out a similar chair with a long handle gouge and mallet, then used a curved shave like you have👍

I'm all about people having the choice to use any tools they want in their own shop, and I appreciate this channel for it's helpful advice in lots of areas. But, you could not pay me to bring either of those tools into my shop, and I'd be really cautious of suggesting that they might be better for people with issues like arthritis or tendonitis unless the angle grinder they're mounted on are really really well built with really minimal vibration.

You'd get less tear-out with the turbo plane if you aligned it so it was plaining with the grain instead of across the grain. Not really a fair comparison to compare the turbo plane across the grain to the turbo scraper used with the grain.

I’ve been a subscriber to your channel going on 9 years now and have watched it devolve from from an excellent resource on woodworking techniques and tool use to a shill channel used primarily to promote gimmicky and questionable tools. Had enough now and will unsubscribe, but thanks for all of the early videos from back when you all cared for craftsmanship

DON'T.
This is probably the most dangerous and difficult to control tool in woodworking. There's TONS of highly experienced woodworkers with some horrific injuries from these. They torque powerfully and in uncontrollable ways without much warning - minor changes in the wood can send them flying out of your hands.
Don't take my word for it. Look it up.
