Hi, we have a 14 month old Hotpoint oven which has these brackets. One (the one with the long spring) looks like it’s failed as it is jammed close and the other is fine. Or is there a simple way of seeing if it has failed or not?

Hi, what if I have hotpoint ariston fk 63 c x/ha and using different system, but in manual is pictured your version. I dont have there "safety clip". But somehow my hinge is more stuck into oven, so my doors are more higher. Any help?

What you fail to mention is that if you DO remove the oven door, the hinges can SNAP CLOSED and I have no way of putting the oven door back on. Very disappointed that this wasn’t mentioned to watch out for.
