Key West Police arrested two off-duty Monroe County Sheriff's deputies early Saturday morning.

It used to be a somewhat difficult process to get hired by a police department. You had to go through extensive interviews, background checks, mental tests, etc. Not anymore. I talked to a law enforcement individual a few weeks back. He said now all you need to be is 21 years old, have a current driver's license and no felonies. He said that's what they are hiring now.

Disorderly conduct is being to loud and disorderly, someone needed to be airlifted to a hospital with head trauma. I'm tired of seeing people in military and policeman get special pampered treatment when they commit crimes. That stinks with the stench of corruption.

I’m glad these cops are being held accountable just like anybody else would. They must’ve been caught on camera, otherwise they would’ve done an “internal investigation” and yet again they would’ve found absolutely nothing wrong with what they did. Always video record the police!
