The way Punisher talks to Daredevil in episode 4 feels so much like how Shane used to talk to Rick in TWD season 2. Even how Frank calls him "Red" feels so close to "Rick".

The writers was going a totally different direction with the character than he wanted to take the punisher character. But when Kevin brought back all the Netflix original writers, it was the best decision he ever made.
