WWE 2K22: 5 Simple Improvements that would 'Hit Different!' (Episode 2)

With WWE 2K22 still 7 months away in today's video we're taking a look at 5 simple improvements the developers could make to help the game "Hit Different", including changes to the Create a Moveset arena, Create an Entrance, the ability to import Superstar Renders and more!

The one feature I’ve wanted in every game but have never got is the feature to be able to change in game superstars hair, beards, tattoos etc (remove, add, or pick a different style) same with facial hair and to be able to add tattoos so that even if 2k is outdated we can still easily update or be able to take stuff like universe mode and make it our own e.g hair vs hair if edge loses I want to remove his hair or if John cena comes back I want updated hair or if someone comes back with tattoos I want to add that. If that makes any sense that’s what I want

I've been saying it for years.
I would love an option to have your managers carry your Championships for you like Taz, Paul Heyman, Lana, Chyna (etc) did.
It's small, but it'd add a lot of character-specific options for those who want it.

We should have longer ramps like wrestlemania or summerslam and we should ha e the option to choose our major reversals like moves

A small detail Id love for both exhibition and universe is to set a "???" Participant to make it random so you dont know who is in the match before the entrance

An improvement that I've always wanted is tag team/stables/strong allies working together in royal rumbles and being more likely to work together in multiman matches like battle royales and mitb matches

One that I've been requesting for years is a "crowd intensity" slider that you can adjust for each wrestler, all pops sound the same for every wrestler in these games. IMO someone like Apollo shouldn't be getting the same pop as Steve Austin or The Rock.

Let us adjust the crowd intensity for a louder or quieter entrance pop.

I'd love to have the ability to change camera angles when creating an entrance. It was a feature that was available on PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. However it was removed after switching to PS4 and Xbox One

Honestly, I got quite a few features I'd like to see:

>The ability to view the match in Universe mode with your booked winner, rather than just picking a name and moving onto the next one.
>Add some finer details to shows in Universe mode: Wrestler is shown walking down the hallway preparing for his next match, followed by- "We'll return after this break."
>Interviews in Universe mode. Doesn't have to be like promo mode but just wrestlers being interviewed, throw in a staredown/confrontation with the rivals.
>more cutscenes involving rivals and factions in Universe mode; more options about each members roles in said faction [i.e. the talker, the stooges, etc.]
>PPV promos packages setting up each match planned when PPV starts hyping every title match
>Zero CAW limitations: 100 isn't enough, and the lack of HD space is annoying. I have 100 slots filled but I see like 100+ more unfilled I could fill it up with.

With the whole idea being "it hits different" they should make Universe mode the main focus, i.e. "We didn't listen to what people wanted last time, let's see you do it."

To piggyback off your comment on renders, I’d love it if 2K could add an option for “championship renders” so the superstars who have a title will have a picture of them holding the belt instead of the base model

1) Better sound quality
2) Better commentary
3) Spot feature (there are scenarios in showcase modes that would be cool to select as spots to build better matches. Each player can pick one that can be triggered in a match)
4) SvR series mini games (I loved these)
5) Realistic crowd reactions

5 things I want in WWE2K22:
1. Better commentary obviously
2. More places to fight backstage
3. Custom music (download or from spotify)
4. Retro superstars (john Cena '04, undertaker '05, Brock Lesnar '04, Kane '08 and so on)
5. Better move animations

Man, 2K22 sounds promosing, despite all the negative energy surrounding the release based off their previous game (2K20). I'm actually excited to see what 2K22 has to bring to the table.

I've been hoping for some major tweaks to managers. As someone who's always enjoyed the role managers play, 2K should increase their participation.

1. There should be a preset available for different types of managers. For example, when Jimmy Hart was hit by a wrestler, he was incapacitated for a while. Ric Flair would not be. The same for females, Miss Elizabeth was not a wrestler but Sensational Sherri was.

2. There should be a "perk" available for having your manager (or if you are the manager) shouting instructions or encouragement, maybe a temporary boost. Also, a negative impact for your opponent.

3. Instead of having a random ally come out, a cutscene could be triggered & the manager runs to the locker room to get help.

I also hate that multiple slots are taken up by the same wrestler. Mick Foley, Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack. Kane 99, Kane Unmasked, etc. They should just be under 1 slot, each character with their own stats.

My Top 5 prediction improvements
1. More OMG Double Finishers:
Double RKO, Spear, 6.1.9, Stunner
2. Additional and Different Backstage Fight Areas
3. Diving Finshers Off Tables, Ladders and OMG top outside diving moves like Jeff Hardy Swanton Bomb, RVD Frog Spash, Shooting Star Press onto the announce tables
4. More and Different Weapon Moves and Finshers placing chair on all fours Running and jumping off chairs moves like in (SVR 2008 featuring ECW) and performing OMG Edge and Christian Double Chair Hit Move
5. Fix Custom Entrance Attire Motion: Undertaker Hat & John Cena Cap can be changed into custom with original motion: John Cena can be able to still throw off his Customize Cap and Undertaker still can take off his customized/change of hat when when creating a entrance

One simple 5hing I want- able to set an "active roster" for exhibition, for the run ins. And just let run ins choose from CAWs as well. (and actually have post-match breakouts work the AI doesnt do them) and run ins for cage, HIAC, ladder, to stop someone winning, and something similar for managers. Something fun to liven up match those types and make it more predictable, as run ins only working on 1 on 1 is unrealistic and limits the fun!

1.) let us change the camera angle
2.) speed the game up
3.) tables. Let us jump back up on the announce table and regular tables.
4.) interact like we used to with the stages
5.) let us mash for pins and submissions. NO meters
