Weege Show: Highest of Highs and Lowest of Lows

Jason Weigandt's son Lane raced the KTM Junior Supercross for Monster Energy Supercross at Empower Field, and somehow got sixth even though dad barely his time to take him riding. This program is all about the smiles and the amazing experience. On the other end, though, this sport can be so cruel, and it presented the cruelest of exits for Eli Tomac. This one hurt so bad.

Weigandt does such a great job reporting on Supercross and makes it seem so easy that it’s almost taken for granted. The respect he has from the riders and teams provides him and us so much insight week after week and making it as entertaining and interesting as the race itself.

Just think of how gutted and devastated we all felt when Eli got injured. I can only imagine what's going through his mind. I feel like all his fans should throw a party for him to let him know we appreciate him and he is a true legend of the sport !!!

I'm just all tore up for that humble Champion. Tomac has been such a class act for our sport. We've been so lucky to watch this dude perfect his skills as good as anyone has. We love you, Tomac. Stay positive 💪 thx Weege

Gutted, devastated, heartbroken for Eli. Really hope this isn't how his career ends. I really hope people don't hate on Chase here. Chase is a great class act. Look at his pass on Eli in the heat. He could have easily made hard contact or even block passed but he didn't he gave Eli plenty of room. At least with Chase winning and not Coop is the fastest guy is champion

Proud dad Jason, love it. 🙂 Weege show is the best, I could listen to Jason talk so open and candidly like that for another 30 min as he speaks to you like you just having a beer with him. So "un announcer like" and genuine. Love Weege!! I remember him back in his GNCC days. Hope to meet you some time, hopefully at the Ironman in August!

Little Weege did great out there. He was pushing, compised, and getting a little air on everything. Thumbs up little man.

I can’t believe that happened to Tomac, I just can’t believe it.

Roczen's comeback from injury is incredible. I can only hope that Tomac can look at that story (and so many others) and also say, "f*** it, I'm gonna heal, become stronger and faster than I've ever been!"

We were at the races and you could sense the crowd going silent after ET pulled off. What a gut punch. Got to see Weege pushing his son on his bike in the pits as they were headed to practice. Later my wife got a photo of Weege in the pits - a celebrity like the racers. Keep up the excellent commentary - it's a must watch every week.
