Weege Show: High Emotions at Detroit Supercross

Monster Energy Supercross gave a great gift to the fans last weekend with Ken Roczen's big win, and it almost gave another when the series came to Detroit. Heartbreakingly, Aaron Plessinger's quest for a first-ever win came to a grinding halt with just over one lap to go. Sad but true. In the meantime, Chase Sexton, who has thrown plenty of wins away just like this, picked up the pieces to score the win.

The unspoken answer from Deegan is "This guy's run me out of racing room numerous times this year, often for zero good reason, we were battling for first place and it was my turn to make things difficult. It's not like I did in a main where points were at stake... and at the end of the day, he went down because he ran into me." Now anyone with common sense knows that a rider can't/ wont say that but if you've watched all these East races you know that's what happened. And honestly Haiden needed to do that. In any motorsport, if you don't put dudes in their place when they run you dirty everyone will run you dirty. Congrats to Haiden on taking that next step. Smith had that coming. Awesome show Jason!! You explained the red lights perfectly. I was there and I also noticed that they leave those lights on for everyone for the current lap so no one can gain an advantage. And although Plessinger wasn't everyone's pick for the win this weekend. By the end of the race, there wasn't a person in the building that wasn't cheering him on.

I love motocross and raced when I was younger. It is the most physically demanding sport on the planet and seeing Aaron winning and then crashing was a heart breaker.

Hunter was sticking up for deegan. That’s cool. The racing between smith and deegan was more exciting than anything the whole night. And the veteran went down. The rookie stayed up. Deegan knows this will happen and he’s prepared for it I’m sure. Now all the Tesla owners need to stop whining and go plug in their car 😂

#1 Smith been running Deegan wide all season #2 Watch Deegans "sand practice video" Him and smith were practicing on a sand track. Smith wanted deegan to lead. Mrs Carmical "said you sure you want to eat his roost?" Smith "i'll take him out if i have too" then proceeds to say " i might get lapped" Smith knows Haiden is fast and feels threatened 100% He is trying to not look like a fool to a kid 10yrs younger. It aint workin, Smith is obviously threatened. The drama been stirring.
