PLOT: After short-tempered trickster Monkey King is insulted while visiting a temple with his master Tang Monk, he destroys a magical tree and accidentally releases the ancient King of Demons, who kidnaps Tang Monk as revenge for his long imprisonment. Now, Monkey King and his fellow disciples must rescue their master within three days, before the Demon King regains his full power and unleashes his armies to destroy the earth.

That was spectacular! Granted in the story of Journey to the West, Wukong defeats the king of the gods like it's nothing, and then almost jumps entirely out of the Budha's hand, so defeating the demon king should be a breeze.

Yo! I'm hyped! This looks amazing! Sure the plot is going to be over dramatic, dialogues in some places awkward, but daaamn I liked the first movie and I'll sure gonna enjoy this one.

Found out something interesting Wukongs not the only Celestial Monkey. There's three more.
Six Ear. Red Bottom. And Long Arm.

Wukong apparently represents knowledge. Which explains A LOT about him. Born being full grown and able to fully speak. Mastering every single mystic art ever taught to him.

His brother Six Ear. Is his equal and he represents truth. His six ears give him the ability to see through any form of deception and lie.

Not much is known about Red Bottom and Long Arm. But in terms of pure raw physical strength. Long Arm is the strongest of the four.
