I have both the T440s with i5 and i7 processors. Both are great but I prefer the one with the i5 4210U because its more cool and silent. In normal operating conditions the fan hardly comes on. It can go for hours without the fan coming on. The i7 is faster and runs cool as well but the fat is constantly on. What I like the most about these machines is the hot swappable batteries. With two batteries you can quickly swap battery without affecting what you are doing. Lenovo has now stopped doing this which is bad IMO. Nice review.

Thanks for doing this review, I have a T440s running Zorin OS (linux). Definitely worth having well made laptop. I paid $415 CDN for the laptop once I upgraded it to i7, 12 GB ram and ssd.

Cool! How much did you get it for? Over here the second hand market doesn't make sense. This one comes for ₹18k ₹32k. Still quite pricy. You can get very good laptops for ₹30k in India.
