That delay is not the refresh rate, it's the panel input lag. You can see it especially on older monitors and TVs. For example my 2008 TV that I use as a monitor has a higher input latency than my 2015 second minitor even though the TV is 75 hz.

I've had 60hz for my whole life and now I've gotten a 240hz and I'm so excited to see how big of a difference it is

I got a 244hz 1440p monitor and few months ago. I've been used to 30fps and 60fps solid when I moved to pc. I cannot even begin to describe how much better every plays 144+. 244 is insane!! But I like 144 personally coz it saves my gpu.

I feel so dumb. My mom has a fancy 4k 120hz tv in her room. I couldn’t understand how I could shoot first in cod and still get recked. I switched tvs today and man what a difference. I’m playing so much better.

Even going down to 120 and 144 from my 165 monitor, i can feel the difference. It doesn't make me sick, just makes me feel a bit slower in everything.

God. I never thought the difference between 60 and 160 fps would be that noticeable, and when I finally upgraded to be able to run 160 fps, i didnt notice. Then i played Elden Ring, which locks at 60. Its such a massive difference. I cant imagine going from 240 to 60
