2024 Nissan Z Review

I dont care what people say, this car calls to me and I own a 23 Cayman T. I love the design, I really wish it had a T-Top. It looks great! It might also be that my folks had a 280 Z at one point and it just makes me feel nostalgic. I'd have one in Rosewood Metallic.

I have owned the 2024 gun metallic performance model for 3 weeks., the 4th Z Car we've owned. Giving a review doesn't require condescending comments. This sports car makes me smile. Nissan should be applauded, not criticized.

0-60 4.3 seconds. It’s fast man…very fast. The updated Nissmo has another 20 HP. The performance package and the extras will make this car girl 65 to 75 thousand. The twin turbo and the torque is substantial. The guy who owns my dealership bought a silver one…it’s nuts. I am a big fan. Funny thing its just sitting here he hasn’t bothered to pick it up. We are getting a Nissmo in a week and I will do a review and post it.

Has this car been a failure for Nissan? I had a 2006 NISMO Z. Loved that car. And I really like the new Z, but I have yet to see one of these on the street. I see more Ferrari's and Lamborghini's. As well, When the Protospec came out I saw dealers trying to sell them for 70 grand. I've seen them now used with less than 10, 000 miles for $40K.

This is how Nissan should’ve done the 350Z. Performance factors are practically secondary to how well the look and feel of this car captured the original 240Z spirit.

Can people start addressing the issues with the engine? This shares the engine in the newer infiniti q60-q50 which have been having turbo and engine block issues since 2017. Would love for that to get talked about more so the issues can be addressed in the new z. People already having the issue in the new z😬

Why is it good news that the manual costs the same as the auto?? The manual should be cheaper.

Just not worth the price tag. Only seen one since its debut just a week ago, not a good sign. Looked decent, but not worth the price tag. Just buy a daily now, then one of these used if it’s a good price.

Just purchased a 2024 Performance model with the 9 speed. I had an 04 Twin Turbo 350Z so this just feels similar but with actual tech and fresher design and better handling. She has already given me more smiles than my Camaro 2SS which I also own but simply fails to give me the same amount of smiles even though being faster and honestly feels more luxurious. The Z is just a special car though and I’m so excited to be back in one. Now imma go get me a 4 door beater to keep the miles relatively low on my two monsters. 👿

I have the 2025 performance z 9spd. It’s a blast to drive and it’s def not slow. The 9spd auto also has rev matching

The Z is insanely fun to drive. I don't know much about the automatic, but I prefer it over the GR86. Insanely quick and you can trick muscle car owners by being at the high end of RPMs due to the turbos.

Drove the supra and Z, liked them both. Would take the Z though; alot cheaper (where i am), better visibility, you can drive with the windows down (supra wind noise with windows down is unbearable) and you get alot more feedback on the back and rear than the supra. Supra hp is underrated and will beat the Z in any race, but you would expect that with the price.
