New Kia Sorento 2022 review

Показать описание
.............................................................
This is the all-new Kia Sorento!
It’s a 7-seat family favourite, and Mat’s on a mission to see if it has what it takes to stand out against competitors like the Peugeot 5008 and Skoda Octavia.
As you’d expect from a 7-seater, it looks pretty imposing on the road, with the more premium models getting a black gloss finish on the large grille upfront. There are also a number of real air intakes up front, unlike the rear which is covered with fake exhausts and vents!
Once you’re inside, there are a number of good quality materials, although these are often surrounded by metallic-looking plastic. There is the option to upgrade to a 10” infotainment screen, although it’s not the most responsive.
There are a number of engines to choose from, with the most powerful being the 1.6-litre turbo plug-in hybrid, which can put down 265hp. It’s also the most expensive, however, especially when you consider the entry-level model costs just over £40,000!
So is it worth it? Or should you consider an alternative if you’re in the market for a 7-seater? You’ll have to stick with Mat to see for yourself!
