How to Fix YouTube Description Link Not Clickable

Your YouTube description link is not clickable because you have the link posted incorrectly. You need to go into the editing section of your description and make sure that your link is complete. This consists of adding your phone number, and verifying that you own the YouTube channel. You can verify your YouTube channel by going into the YouTube studio and clicking on the settings tab. There’s a section in there where you can verify your YouTube channel to become eligible to post links in your description.

How do you fix the amazon links that aren't clickable in the description box?

I can poet the link and it clickable but my amazon link just land on amazons home page not the item and not through my affiliate, however when I paste the same link in the address bar it works as it should, what am I missing this seems to only affect me affiliates link I have only tried amazon as that is the only affiliate I have. Links to my blog work fine.

Chris, how about for YouTube Shorts? I have no problems with long form video descriptions and comments for posting clickable affiliate links. But I'm not having luck with YT Shorts.

I have the https:// and then the rest of the of the link and it is still not clickable. Makes no since. I copy and paste the links into the web browser and they work. The only thing I can think of is that I was just 'enabled' today so it may take a day or so to take effect.
