easyjet losing part its wing and banking like what happened to Gol Airlines 1908 and the KLM losing its tail like JAL 123... scary stuff! well made

The problem was, even if the Easyjet plane didn't execute a go around and had landed on the runway, it would still have collided with the KLM because it was taking off while Easyjet is about to land. Basically a disaster waiting to happen.

KLM 753 is still aloft because they only lost the rudder, with JAL 123 they lost rudder yes but all hydraulics including the apu, meaning the KLM pilots can still use conventional means of controlling the plane, i.e the yoke and not using throttle controls
