Have loved this song from the first time I heard it years ago! Love Melissa 's voice and her fearlessness. When she came out it was not as common as it is today. I'm not gay but I have never had a problem with those who are. My youngest daughter dated one boy for about 2 years. He was controlling and emotionally abusive. She then met a girl, became best friends and fell in love. That was about 11 years ago and they are stil together and happy. I thank you Melissa and other trailblazers for your courage . Ya'll made it far easier for those that followed. And hey, from one Kansas girl to another, YOU ROCK!!
