IP Command | Configure Network Interfaces on Linux

What's up Linux Community!!! In this video I walk through how to use the IP command in Linux. I also show how you can assign Static IP Address, Static Route, Default Gateway etc. Assigning IP Address on demand using IP command. IFCONFIG command is deprecated and replaced by IP command in Linux. However, IFCONFIG command is still works and available for most of the Linux distributions.

It all seems right. I like how the classics never fade. One problem for me — if I take my WiFi down, usually [ nmcli r wi off ] but the ip works the sme way, then it frequently cannot be brought back to life. It remains in state DOWN until I reboot. WiFi 6e is built into this motherboard— does that sound like a hardware issue?

Great video bro! Keep making them. Also, not sure if u know, you can also abbreviate the action on the command. This would work as well:

#$ ip addr sh

This will display all network addresses.
