Hi I know this is a year late so I hope you respond but I was planning on picking hockey for my pep and my weaknesses are cardiovascular endurance and balance and reaction and as a forward I'm not the most clinical finisher as I am playing with men 10 years older any advice

Hi! I'm thinking of choosing 100m Sprint as the chosen sport for my PEP and I am a part of a club. I am good at accelerating but would say I am weaker in the reaction, block clearance and drive phase. Can you suggest any components of fitness that I should test on, and improve on? Thanks !
