He makes the craziest licks look effortless. This is out of this world.

Using flat wounds eliminates quite a bit of finger noise. The lack of finger noise gives his chordal playing a clear mellow sound. Hats off to the great James Jamerson for being noticed for using flat wounds like Bubby using here.

Discovering new Bassist is a blessing. And him confirming MTD - a brand I only got to know barely two months ago is also beautiful ❤.

Terrific!

I don't call that practicing. I call that simply playing what comes through your mind.

I just switched to flats. This young man’s amazing. First time hearing this fella. Putting in the work. Very good advice. 👍🏾🎸

IDK who this dude is, but I like him a lot.
I always tell folks the point of practice is to eliminate the awareness of the tool, and get into a flow state.
This guy pretty much is the final boss.

2:50 _...the only way you can progress is if you do something that's not easy for you..._ some people don't understand that, mind-blowing techique, yeah.

Seems like a well adjusted young man.
Being great at what you do while also remaining humble is awesome.

Great job! You can see that you're a non-judgmental young man who loves all people and they see that. Keep your positive attitude and remember all we can do is stay in motion. The only thing we have to be mindful of is making sure we're going in the right direction.

I have a question about your bass. What kind of bass are you playing and what model?

Thumbs up.

Most good bass players I would say have about half the "spider" movement going on with the left hand. Seeing Bubby play live, for the first time I saw a bass player play with full spider movement 100 percent of the time. Perfect technique.
