Korean Digital Perm: Worth It? #hairtransformation

Показать описание
I'm 2 months into my korean digital perm and now its time for a review!
The Experience:
- Went To A Korean Hairdresser And Showed LOTS OF Inspo Videos. I was very specific of how I wanted the style to turn out. I ended up asking three different hairstylists who specialize in perms to see if they could do it before settling.
- Took About 4 Hours Total
- Got A Haircut, Wash, And Perm Treatment
- Waited 2 Days After The Treatment To Wash My Hair Per Aftercare Notes
The Wash & Style:
It was a bit of a learning curve since all I cared for most of my life was straight hair. I'm glad I got a deep conditioning mask, hair clips, and curl cream to help with the styling/repairing process. Without it, I definitely feel like some of my curls from the digital perm wouldn't have bounced back as well as it did considering my hair was on the drier side pre-treatment.
I would wait until my hair was about 85% dry to start the styling process after drying. After clipping, I allow everything to completely dry before unraveling. My hair comes out SO beautiful and frizz free! I do wash my hair every 3 days and during the three days my hair wears really well. I don't have to fix it or brush it all that much.
DON'T GET IT IF:
Your hair is anything BUT virgin.
You plan to change the style of your often
You feel like you can't handle the maintenance
Other than that I definitely feel like its something everyone should try at least once in their life!
