I can't even imagine the parasites and bugs before that was all shaved off. So heavy and soggy too.

We bred a lot of types of sheep to grow wool constantly. You can't just stop shearing. Hopefully, she gets a better home and whoever had her before doesn't get any more animals they can't properly care for. Whether it was a health issue or other issue that prevented proper care or pure neglect: if you can't fully care for animals, rehome them to someone who can, please. It's the best thing for them at that point.
