Just a heads-up: the Levi's 501 jeans at 10:47 aren't selvedge. Those have an overlock stitch. Selvedge denim material does not require extra stitchwork along the edge, as the textile already has a self-reinforced-edge (self-edge) applied at the time that the denim textile is manufactured. Hence the name.

Do you have a more organized presentation as to what brands to look for? How long do you let a listing go? Of all those sales, what is your return rate (I hope zero - I hate those returns)? Hey, love your videos! I appreciate how open you are with how you source, how you talk to people you source from, and all your finance content. I just wanted to pop on here with a comment about the Levi's. I scanned the comments to see if anyone had already commented, and I realize this video is already a month old so I don't know how helpful this will be... but those Levi's are definitely not selvedge. The seams that you showed are overlocked, which is not the same thing as a selvedge edge. Folks who are searching for selvedge denim will probably know what they are looking for and will most likely spot this issue and not buy, or be disappointed when they receive them and realize they aren't selvedge. One of the best ways to tell if the jeans are vintage is to look at the tags. Often vintage Levi's will be made in the USA with a small tag at the waist, and some are even made in Mexico. If they are made in Asia the are most likely not vintage. There are subreddits and FB pages where people post there labels and people can help to identify the year of manufacture. All that said, vintage selvedge Levis do pop up from time to time. I found some redline selvedge shrink-to-fit LVC (Levi's Vintage Clothing) 501s at my local thrift that I eventually sold on Poshmark for $75, so it's worth researching a bit to learn what to look for.

Hi, I wish we all had a Tommy in our lives 😂 We don’t have much in NJ, most of my purchases are from church’s sales, garage sales, estate and moving sales. Thrift stores by me got so expensive that there is very little room to make profit. I enjoyed your video, thank you for sharing!
