2:03:02 Music City Miracle

Known as the "Music City Miracle" this instant classic featured the Tennessee Titans in their first playoff game since the franchise moved from Houston. What made this game so spectacular was the ending, with only 16 seconds remaining in the game Buffalo took a 16-15 lead. However, on the ensuing kickoff Frank Wycheck threw a cross-field lateral to Kevin Dyson. The play caught the Bills by surprise and gave Dyson an easy walk in touchdown for the win. The play is still seen as one of the most controversial in NFL history, some claiming the lateral to be an illegal forward pass.

Steve McNair was definitely one of best quarterbacks in NFL history! He left us too soon! May he rest in peace!

I remember my dad saying, "they should take a knee and center the ball. If Tennessee wants to use their timeouts, let 'em. But don't leave any time." Turned out he was right.

That's what the ownership gets for benching Flutie.

For all of you coming down here to complain it was a Foward lateral, it's not. They have tested it many times even doing a laser point test and confirmed it was clean. Now scroll back up and enjoy the game.

Ha at 2:00:42 the commentator said "There's the miracle." Sorry announcer, but you were a little bit early on that call!

I remember rooting so much for this Tennessee Titans team during this run, especially (as a Dolphins fan) that they beat the Bills and the Jaguars (who absolutely crushed us). Plus, this team seemed to have a little magic, and came so close, even when they were down 16-0 down to the Rams in the SB.

I honestly can't even imagine being in the stadium at the time. Absolute chills just from looking at it 17 years later on a computer

My wife's friend's wedding started after the game. I offered to help decorate the church while the game was playing. The church had no TV but I found a radio that had the game. It was fascinating to listen to the audio without watching what happened. Great radio broadcasting i

Biggest mistake Buffalo made: Starting Johnson over Doug Flutie... I miss Patrick and Theisman on SNF.. McGuire was a cook.

Frankly this was karma biting the Bills for benching Doug Flutie for Rob Johnson cause of one game.
