I had a bead on a 60’s Les Paul Standard this morning. I watched this review. I drove 2 hours. I now have this guitar. Thank you for this review! You made my decision easy.

I bought a 50s standard cherry sunburst les Paul. Love it. I’ve owned five les Paul’s now and this is the best one I have to say.

GAK got lucky having you host their channel bro. Super talented and makes any guitar sound amazing. Both these guitars rock my face off. I want the 50's

Man I love these guitars. Over the past year I bought a AAA cherryburst 50’s, a gold top p90 50’s, and a AAA bourbon burst 60’s. All great axes. And that’s some kick ass playing your laying down.

I bought them both. But I seem to find myself playing the 60’s one more! I love it!

That 50s tobacco burst is the One! Take my money!

Both amazing guitars, great demo, my choice was the 60's because of the slim taper neck profile and the hotter pickups and that bourbon burst ❤

Well this is just meant to be. I’ve narrowed it down to a Tobacco Burst or a Bourbon Burst and I can’t decide which (playing them and feeling the neck will help with that) but here I am researching and come across this video...and you’re playing the two options I’ve narrowed it down to. Awesome.

I was heading in to my local guitar shop to pick up the 50's in Tobacco when lo and behold on the counter was a 50's in Cherry SB that a guy returned 15mins prior-decided he preferred a gold top- they discounted it 1, 000 so I bought it then and there. I think the 50's sounds sweeter and love the neck profile. The Alnico 5's of the 60's sounds a little generic to my ear, especially with high gain, the clean might be on par with the alnico 2's. Anyway, great review, glad Gibby's are back!!

Very clear and informative overview of the specs of each guitar, with tasty playing. Agree on the Tobacco Burst looking fantastic on a Les Paul. I hope some left-handed models make it to the UK (there are one or two lefties available in USA shops).

You are truly a guitar legend my friend! Bravo! I’m heading over to London in three weeks. I will be staying in central London. I am interested in buying a Gibson Les Paul Standard. But, I want a cherry sunburst finish with grover rotomatic machine heads. So, I am torn between these two guitars right here. Any suggestions? Don’t want to tamper too much with a work of art

To my ears, chords sound much better on the 60s but individual notes sound much brighter on the 50s therefore the 60s is the ultimate rhythm guitar and the 50s is the ultimate soloing machine

I prefer the heritage cherry finish as long as it isn't a Tomato burst Mine has nice wide flame and is 8.4 lbs It's a good one Very happy with my 2019

Appreciate the review! Throw me a Les Paul and I’m gonna crank that amp! Tired of all these clean tone reviews. Thanks for getting right to it and playing Samir tasty licks
