Curious. Sweet potatoes hit my hubby for a longer time than regular potatoes. Corn hits him hard and high. But, the spike doesn't last as long as with potatoes. Carbs really hit everyone differently. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!

All foods have some kind of issues. I have just started eating whole foods that I like.
My wife mixes the sweet potatoes with the white. It's very tasty.
What I don't eat is stuff with 29 ingredients and seed oils.

Hello! You could do the same test with potatoes and sweet potatoes but after chilling them in the fridge. It would be interesting to see if, as they say, resistant starches don't raise that glucose as much. Thank you!

24 net grams of carbs. If you're on a keto / low carb diet, OMAD that's do able combined with a fatty steak. Butter on top of the potato.

Very interesting sweet potatoes barley bump my numbers at all but white potatoes are definitely a no go for me.

If you combine sweet potatoes with an egg, it's even lower GI.
