This is a great react video! I like how you mentioned his voice blending with the instrumentals, and pointed out the amazing guitar in the background--you were right when you said the sound tended to blend together. I also liked how you pointed out that the words (tongue-twisters) have to adhere to a strict beat (I haven't heard many others mention it). I'm glad you seemed to really enjoying it as personally, its one of my favorite songs! It's totally different, but it just proves Dimash can rock out with the best of them and be.. totally... AWESOME!

Info: The original songs at the Moscow concert were "Lay Down", "Give Me Your Love" and a few others. I was surprised when I heard the two pop/rock songs, because I wasn't sure he could write or sing in that genre. But they are very "solid" songs, ones that make you think they might be covers from an "established" artist but they aren't. I think this is a huge compliment, and proves just how excellent a songwriter Dimash is. I hope that last part made sense. I feel those songs could air on the radio--and his English is really good! Still a slight accent, but I think its cute. ;D

Hi Franck, great reaction as always but I'm happy you did it about this song in particular, 'cause some people think it's not "his kind" of genre! I think Dimash has not a genre, he can sing all sort of it and he makes fun in testing his voice and possibilities. And plus I adore Lay down and it' s driving rhythm. Love

Dimash did not write this song. (Look in the description box of this video on Dimash's channel). This was his latest digital single released in China. I have no idea when the studio was recorded, but it was released only shortly before this concert. What is amazing is the improvement in his english when comparing the two. He just improves so fast sometimes that you can't keep up. I respect and admire his hard work so much. (BTW, yesterday was Dimash's 25th birthday).

Dimash likes to create his own songs along with all the covers he does. His history says he likes to write poetry, so I would think some of his songs come from that. His Dad Kanat also has written songs for him, "Goodie Goodie". I believe is the name of it. Dimash performed it when he as 19yo. You can find it on the Gloria Wu channel of all Dimash songs. Glad you enjoyed it.

Although Dimash does compose some of his own...a lot of composers are bringing him new things...We are waiting for a new song from Igor Krutoy...who is reportedly writing one just for Dimash...All of Igor's songs that Dimash has done so far were written years ago for other singers..Dimash just gave them a new life....
