This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and didn't speak any Chinese at that time], and he was the least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode].

This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.

I discovered Dimash yesterday. He is a virtual unknown in the UK. I must say in my opinion this has to be the greatest vocal performance of any talent show anywhere in the world. I have watched this performance countless times already and each time I get goosebumps. EVERY performance is electric. Surely Dimash has to be one of the most versatile vocalists on the planet. I would even say with confidence that he IS the greatest singer on the planet. He can also dance. His incredible range, control, showmanship and dedication to his craft is on a whole new level. I watched an interview he gave from a couple of months ago and he was so impressive. It's almost like Pavarotti, Andrea Boccelli, Celine Dion & Michael Jackson are trapped inside Dimash. INCREDIBLE!

I love that you actually laugh when he goes even higher, is there any other way to react? He's such an amazing singer, his range is insane and his sense for the dramatics makes his such a great performer. You can see it in his face and stance "so you thought I was done? Oh no, there's more, just hold on to your seat"

Probably, he is the only male who can sing the song of the Diva Plavalaguna which named "The Diva Dance" from the film called "5th Element". Singer 2017 performance and Bastau concert live performance of The Diva Dance is incredible, but Shenzhen concert live performance is out of this world.

The difficulty of the first song is a 10 out of 5. I have been singing both jazz, and classical for 30 years, and have a 3.5-octave range and that is insanely hard. I am also a vocal coach and for you to sit there and say it was nice is kinda mind-blowing. This man has one of the best voices and ranges on the planet at the moment. Hard to deny.
