Is Mamata Giving Communal Twist To Doctors Strike After Being Spooked By BJP? | To The Point

As the strike by junior doctors at the Nil Ratan Sircar (NRS) Medical College in Kolkata enters the fourth day, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee slammed BJP and accused its leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of creating communal tension in the state.
Coming down heavily on the protesting doctors, Mamata had given them an ultimatum asking them to withdraw the protest by 2 pm or be ready to face strong action. However, doctors defied the deadline and said agitation will continue till their demands are met. Mamata then wrote a letter followed by Facebook post appealing the agitating doctors to end the protest. Meanwhile, the Doctors met the state Governor, Keshari Nath Tripathi and called Mamata's threat to take action, unconstitutional. Is Mamata loosing grip over Bengal?

Shut up, no nonsense. I am telling you as a physician and medical scientist, as per national and international law, and medical ethics 1. Medicine is a profession just like any other profession and it is not philanthropic or pure humanitarian service therefore doctors render their servoces with appropriate renumeration(fee) either by patient or by an govt or non govt agency. 2. Physician will provide his or her services without compromising their own personal physical and financial and social safeties. 3. Physician has right to right to deny services if there is an imminent threat to own life(eg. You cannot demand civilian physician to attend patient in an active battle field or in a full blown cyclone ..
