McDonald's E. coli outbreak spreads to 3 new states

According to the CDC, the E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald's Quarter Pounders has spread to three new states. CBS News Colorado reporter Karen Morfitt has the latest.

Why only the quarter pounders? I am interested to see know how many were sold and how many people actually got sick. Yes, the timing of the occurrence is highly suspicious.

I still don't understand. If its the onions, why is it only affecting McDonald's? Other businesses and stores have reported taking the onions off shelves and doing recalls, but the only people who got sick are those who specifically ate at McDonald's.

Not even the McDonald's located in third world countries are this bad. It goes to show how low this country has fallen.

From Listeria to E. Coli, food safety is not a priority in the US and there are no regulations and laws to protect the public. They should close and shut down all McDonalds branches for 3 weeks until they resolve it.

Everyone should avoid eating out, and don't go to fastfood, restaurants for at least a couple of months.

Why do people eat fast food crap. Don't they know that billionaires own all the food distribution and all of the labels/company's of the foods we use to trust, and the corners they cut for profit.
American has some of the worst food in the world, unless you're rich and can afford the good stuff.
