I personally don’t think 1.8 will die from this. As someone who started out with 1.13 (when that was the latest version), I later switched to 1.8 after discovering Bedwars. I think this will similarly happen with MCI and TubNet, but who knows.

If I’m being honest, I hope that these new servers reach higher player counts than hypixel. It will be a wake up call to them, meaning they will HAVE to add new content in order to keep up with servers such as tubnet and mcc island.

i really hope your right about it exciting the minecraft community beacause recently bedwars and minecraft has been dying due to lack of content and the whole player chat reporting backlash and lockdown restrictions being lifted people actually have a life now. Its a bit sad to see the 1.8 community falling apart but i hope this new community will shine some light on minecraft. Also bedwars is averaging 6k plays and roblox bedwars is averaging 60k players which is more than the players on hypixel right now.

honestly here's my ideas: i reckon mcc island and tubnet will make a rise to fame, and i think newer versions of content are going to take the lead, however i think that hypixel wont die. its been around too long and has too many big names backing it to fade into obscurity.

As a bridge main it would really hurt me a lot if I were to switch the pvp versions. Bridge is really, and I say REALLY based on pre 1.9 combat. I think 1.8 will still be superior but not for the reason of it being good, the reasoning would be lots of gamemodes BASED only on that version and converting them to 1.9 pvp would be nearly impossible while making it still playable

Mcc island is honestly so fun!! It's great to see some changes in the minecraft community, these servers will definitely bring together some communities which I'm really excited for. Amazing vid as always, and looking forward to seeing you dominate mcc island intel :)

tbh I'm a 1.8 Youtuber and I'm not even upset this is going to be a new era. as Technoblade once said "an opportunity comes by luck. it takes skill to grasp the opportunity and turn it into success." even thought 1.8 might die, at least we still have more MC and no matter what MC will be MC.

I so wish I had access to MCC Island, but I'm using this time to learn 1.9+ pvp skills since I've never actually played games that we're 1.8. Looking forward to both servers!
