Why Men Lose Interest In Great Women

One of the things we have to address in the current dating process is that most people are meeting strangers. That's right, we hardly know anything about a person when we meet. And let's get real, most of the time we are meeting people through an online connection and we have little or no knowledge as to who they are as a person.

So, what does it take to get to know someone on a deeper level?

In today's video, I'm going to share the 4 pillars to a successful relationship and why it's often the reason most people lose interest in one another.

The blending of lives is a very important stage. That is where most men check out

Jonathan, you are the best advice guru out there. I like that you speak to a more mature group of women. I learn so much from you and it makes me feel good that I am doing most things right as a widow trying to date again. 😘

Yep, learned this after dealing with a guy who did silent treatments and stonewalling. It got exhausting after four months. Knew it wouldn't work then

Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Sharing them with several girlfriends. One who just recently lost her 38 year old son to diabetes health-related issues. Your butterfly story about your own son, made her cry.

That book (8 dates) is painfully asinine if you are single and haven't been in a relationship in awhile.
It's geared towards couples. You feel even more frustrated and alone when reading it.

Men lose interest in women because women don’t show interest in their man.

I used to listen to my ex-gf talk on the phone about herself the whole time. Her job, her friends, her life. Wasn’t interested at all about me or what I had going on. I found her physically attractive with many good qualities, but after a while I just lost interest, dumped her, and moved on.

"My way or the highway." OMG, that's what my first husband said to me. Seriously. I hit the highway soon after. LOL
Thank you for this video. It's very hard to find love online. You're right, they don't always share your values.

Hi Jonathon. You talk about the village life of yesteryear as being more supportive of finding a familiar mate who shared values and lifestyles, etc. Esther Perel talks about this alot too. Her take is more that in a village community we would not look to our mate to fulfill all our varied selves but rather that we would look to the whole community to find emotional intimacy, creative partners, people to teach us new skills, people to sing with and have fun, share meals with, share childcare with, etc. I wonder if relationships were any more fulfilling in the past or that we had far less expectations or more realistic expectations of what we could experience in a marriage. We did not look to one person, our marriage partner to fullfill us. I talk with my elder women friends in their 90's to ask them about their marriages and it's been so interesting. Most all of them outlived their husbands and went on to create other marriages or lover/companion type of relationships. What they've said is that what they didn't get to live out in their first marriages which were characterized by career building and raising children. The men/husbands spent most of their time and focus on career building/earning money/providing. The women spent their time and energy on childrearing, running a household. Then the husbands died off and their wives went on to find men to share the next phase of life after children were grown. For my friends this was more informal, they didn't get officially married but may have spent years together often caring for the second partner till they died. They all expressed much appreciation for getting to experience more than one mate in this life.

Never set yourself on fire to keep some else warm .This is what I found frustrating about being in relationships their inability to have deep conversations, everything else just surface. The honest answer is that we all want a nice woman, the thing is that most women seem to be uncapable of catering to a man needs because it is all about her.bother way I am the online one who just start youtube chanel on 2023? Thank for sharing it's really helpful :)

Whatever happened to working on things? I guess there’s too many in the dating pool to try and adapt to someone’s lifestyle?

We have fabulous chemistry. I have not had good chemistry with a man for over a decade. So, it's sad he seems to be pulling away. He's a contractor, I've secretly wanted one. I love landscaping. Nice smooth and common interests. So, obviously, something turned him off.

I love your videos and advice. Is it possible to have 3 out of 4 pillars? My best friend and I are very close, but there's never been chemistry. Can the chemistry come later, or is it always first?
