I like the dryness of these cymbals. This is the first time in a long time I have found cymbals that remind me of my old Paiste Innovations but are a little drier. I prefer cymbals with a good attack and quick decay but also being somewhat dry. They get out of the way quickly. Awesome.

Why does everyone want crashes that sustain for ever? Whenever I record, that sustain bugs the hell out of me. Give me a crash that does its job and then gets out of the way. These are pretty perfect!

Yesterday I went to a music store and tried this exact set of cymbals. The sound is horrible when you have them in front of you. I ended up buying the series.

The ride and hats sound awesome, but the crashes sound too choked yk, they just die after the impact and don't have enough sustain.

They sound pretty good but the whole ultra dark and dry cymbals fad just isn't for me. Killer drummer though!
